CLINICAL PILATES & SMALL GROUP PILATES
Developed by Exercise Physiologists
Our small-group Studio Pilates (1:3 - 1:6 ratio) and our Clinical Pilates (1:1- 1:3 ratio) are developed and overseen by our experienced Exercise Physiologists and incorporate a mixture of mat, reformer and wunda chair pilates.
Classes are capped to small-scale groups for an inviting, high-quality experience. Intimate class sizes allow us to provide greater 1:1 support by adapting, modifying and tailoring a safe class to suit your individual needs and goals for all ages and levels.
What is Clinical Pilates good for?
Clinical Pilates is a proven, physiotherapist-led exercise approach designed to improve strength, mobility, posture, and injury recovery. At Resilient Health Group, our Clinical Pilates Adelaide programs are tailored to individual and complex physical needs, making them ideal for rehabilitation, pain management, post-natal, disability and more conditions where extra support and personalisation is required.
-
A major benefit of Reformer Pilates Training is its ability to safely build strength with controlled resistance. Using specialised equipment, reformer exercises reduce joint stress while improving muscle control, making them suitable for all fitness levels. This is why Recovery Pilates is widely recommended for back pain, neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Clinical Pilates also targets deep core stability and movement efficiency. Equipment such as the Wunda Chair Pilates allows for functional, weight-bearing exercises that improve balance, coordination, and lower-limb strength. When combined with Reform Pilates techniques, clients can progress seamlessly from rehabilitation to performance-based movement.
Resilient Health Group delivers expert-led Clinical Pilates Adelaide sessions from our fully equipped Adelaide Pilates Studio on Magill Rd, conveniently located for clients across Magill, Norwood, Kensington, Burnside, and surrounding eastern suburbs.
