Small Groups, Big Impact
Do you want Pilates that actually addresses injury, pain or functional goals — not just a generic group workout?
Our Studio Pilates classes are designed to bridge the gap between one-on-one clinical care and mainstream large Pilates classes.
Intimate class sizes allow us to provide greater support by adapting, modifying and tailoring a safe class to suit your individual needs and goals for all ages and levels.
What makes our Studio Pilates different?
Clinician-led
Our pilates programs are designed by our Exercise Physiologists, experienced in rehabilitation and movement therapy. Expect clinical insight into safe progressions and movement quality.
Small Groups
Small groups: Maximum of 4–6 participants per class ensures personalised attention, hands-on cueing and modifications to suit individual needs.
Goal-focused
Classes begin with a quick functional check-in so the session targets each participant’s priorities — pain reduction, movement confidence, postural control, return-to-sport/work or improved everyday function.
Evidence-informed programming
Exercises are selected and progressed using current best practice for motor control, strength and tissue load management.
Individualised modifications
Every movement includes regressions and progressions so everyone trains at an appropriate level, whether recovering from injury or building resilience.
Clinical environment
Studio setting with therapeutic equipment (reformers, wunda chair, clinical props) supporting precise movement and load modulation.

Why choose Clinical Pilates?
Individualised assessment
Your first appointment is a thorough assessment — movement analysis, strength and control testing, pain and functional history, goals-setting and risk screening. From this we design a personalised program that addresses your needs, limitations and long-term aims.
Specialist-led
Sessions are delivered by a registered physiotherapist with clinical Pilates training. You receive expert clinical reasoning, manual skills where required, and ongoing outcome-driven review.
Safe progression for complex needs
Designed to adapt Pilates principles for people with chronic pain, neurological conditions, disability, post‑natal recovery, orthopaedic injuries and multi‑morbidity and more. Exercises are modified for your capacity, with graded loading, motor control retraining and functional transfer to everyday activities.
Holistic focus
Integrates breath, posture, core stability and movement quality while addressing balance, endurance and functional independence. Sessions include education, self-management strategies and practical tools you can use outside the clinic.
One-to-one support
The dedicated physiotherapist observes, cues and adjusts your technique in real time, reducing injury risk and maximising carryover. This focused environment is ideal for complex presentations where nuanced feedback matters.
Flexible care pathways
We may be able to support clients under NDIS, Medicare chronic disease management plans, private health depending on individual funding. Private pay is also avalable. We can liaise with your wider care team — GPs, specialists, occupational therapists — to ensure coordinated care.
The Benefits of Pilates
-
Unlike many forms of exercise, mat and reformer pilates are low-impact modes of movement making it gentle on joints.
-
Improves balance and coordination which reduces injury risk by strengthening your stabiliser muscles especially of the abdominals.
-
Promotes spine mobility & posture alignment for prevention/management of chronic musculoskeletal pain (lower back pain, shoulder bursitis, knee osteoarthritis etc.)
-
Our Pilates Classes are slower paced and gentle than most other classes which promotes relaxation and mental wellbeing.
-
Our Clinical Pilates option allows those with complex physical conditions to engage in pilates with the supervision and guidance of our esteemed Exercise Physiologist to promote safe and effective recovery.
-
Group Studio Pilates are inclusive to those post-partum wanting to strengthen their core and get back into safe and low-impact movement once they have been cleared by their healthcare professional.
For those with more complex post-partum conditions such as significant diastasis recti, our 1:1 Clinical Pilates is an effective form of exercise to promote the healing and repair of the core with the close guidance of our Exercise Physiologist.
