About Stephanie Kozno

Driven by passion

Stephanie is a qualified Play Therapist and is registered with the Play Therapy Practitioners Association (PTPA). She completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Art at the University of South Australia in 2024.

Stephanie has also completed the Child-Centered Play Therapy Clinical Training Program through Play Therapy School in 2024. She is currently close to completing her Diploma in Counselling with the Australian College of Community Services & Care.

Stephanie works from a child-centred, relationship-based approach. She believes that children communicate their thoughts, emotions and experiences through play, and that a safe, supportive therapeutic space allows children to explore and express themselves in ways that feel natural to them.

Stephanie aims to build trusting relationships with children, so they feel understood, accepted and empowered within the therapy process.

Through play, creative expression and gentle guidance, Stephanie supports children to develop emotional awareness, confidence, and coping skills.

She works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to ensure children feel supported both within sessions and in their everyday environments.
