What is Studio Pilates?

Studio Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on improving strength, stability, flexibility, posture and body awareness through controlled, purposeful movement.

Our classes primarily use reformer Pilates equipment alongside a variety of other functional exercise tools to create engaging, full-body workouts suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.

Every movement is designed to improve how your body performs in everyday life, helping you develop better movement patterns, greater confidence and improved physical function.

Small Groups, Big Impact

Do you want Pilates that actually addresses injury, pain or functional goals — not just a generic group workout?

Our Studio Pilates classes are designed to bridge the gap between one-on-one clinical care and mainstream large Pilates classes.

Intimate class sizes allow us to provide greater support by adapting, modifying and tailoring a safe class to suit your individual needs and goals for all ages and levels.

What makes our Studio Pilates different?

Clinician-led

Our pilates programs are designed by our Exercise Physiologists, experienced in rehabilitation and movement therapy. Expect clinical insight into safe progressions and movement quality.

Small Groups

Small groups: Maximum of 4–6 participants per class ensures personalised attention, hands-on cueing and modifications to suit individual needs.

Goal-focused

Classes begin with a quick functional check-in so the session targets each participant’s priorities — pain reduction, movement confidence, postural control, return-to-sport/work or improved everyday function.

Evidence-informed programming

Exercises are selected and progressed using current best practice for motor control, strength and tissue load management.

Individualised modifications

Every movement includes regressions and progressions so everyone trains at an appropriate level, whether recovering from injury or building resilience.

Clinical environment

Studio setting with therapeutic equipment (reformers, wunda chair, clinical props) supporting precise movement and load modulation.

The Benefits of Pilates

What Happens Before I Join a Studio Pilates Class?

Every new participant begins with an individual assessment.

During your assessment we'll:

  • Discuss your goals

  • Review your exercise history

  • Assess your movement and mobility

  • Identify any injuries or health considerations

  • Introduce you to the reformer

  • Develop a personalised exercise program

  • Recommend the most appropriate class level

This helps ensure you feel confident and safe before joining one of our small group sessions.

Our Reformer Pilates Equipment

Our modern Pilates studio features high-quality reformer equipment designed to support a wide variety of exercises.

Using adjustable spring resistance, the reformer allows exercises to be modified for beginners while providing challenging progressions for more experienced participants.

Additional equipment may include resistance bands, stability balls, balance equipment and small Pilates accessories to add variety and target different movement patterns.

Our Studio Pilates Classes

Our classes are designed to provide individual attention while maintaining the motivation and energy of a small group environment.

Exercises are progressed based on your ability, allowing you to continue improving over time while working toward your personal goals.

Our instructors provide ongoing guidance throughout every class, helping you refine technique, improve movement quality and progress safely.

Benefits include:

  • More individual coaching

  • Better exercise technique
